Gift Aid is tax relief that lets your charity claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give. This is my own money. I am not paying in donations made by a third party. I’m a UK taxpayer and I understand that if the Gift Aid claimed on this donation is more than the tax I pay in the current tax year (on my income and/or capital gains), it’s my responsibility to pay the difference. I'm also not donating in return for a benefit such as a ticket to an event, in a raffle, or as part of an auction.
